Ship Broker · Chartering Broker · Senior Software Engineer · Senior Sales Consultant
Tug, barge, cargo ship, landing craft, offshore vessel or yacht; whether you buy, sell or charter, your deal has one person responsible from the first call to delivery: me.
At Shipo Market and Mahfa Marine Services Company I do two jobs at once. As a broker, I pin down the specification with the owner, arrange an independent survey, check documents and insurance before anything is signed, and stay with you to the end of the negotiation. As a senior software engineer, I build the tools that make that work faster and safer: the checked listings system, the Captain AI assistant and the bilingual site you are reading now.
I have lived and worked in Türkiye and Georgia for years and work in four languages, so an Iranian owner and a foreign buyer or charterer sit at one table with me, with no interpreter in between. I measure price and risk in numbers, not by feel: economic analysis, market statistics and deal strategy are my daily tools.
From tugs and barges to cargo ships, landing craft and offshore vessels. The right vessel, inspection visits, enquiries and negotiation up to the memorandum of agreement.
Voyage, time and bareboat charters. Matching the vessel to your project and cargo, setting the charter party terms, and following delivery and redelivery.
An independent marine surveyor, thickness measurement and underwater inspection for older vessels, so the real condition of hull and machinery is known before the price is fixed.
Registry papers and certificates, claims history, hull cover and P&I entry checked before signing; the place where most deals get stuck.
The real market price measured from data: current listings, market trend, age, specification and condition. Economic analysis and statistics stand behind the figure, not guesswork; not higher for the seller, not lower for the buyer.
Trade and logistics experience between Iran and Türkiye, working in Persian, English, Turkish and Georgian, for deals with a foreign counterparty.
We define the need: vessel type, budget or target price, port, timing and intended use.
I put forward suitable vessels from the checked listings and the owners' network, with real specifications and photos.
I arrange the visit and, where needed, an independent surveyor. We read the report together.
Offer and counter offer, documents, insurance and registry, until the memorandum of agreement is ready to sign.
Payment, bill of sale and protocol of delivery and acceptance. I stay until the vessel is in your name.
Shipo Market has been Iran's first and largest maritime marketplace since 2015: the specialist market for buying, selling and chartering vessels. Its idea was one of 6 selected from 61 entries at the first Conference on AI in Maritime Industries, Sharif University of Technology, 2025.
Every listing is checked before it goes live and no member's phone number is ever published; buyers and sellers meet through Shipo Market's brokers. That rule is what keeps a deal safe.
Captain, the site's AI assistant, answers visitors' questions about listings, vessel types and the steps of a deal, and hands the conversation to me when a person is needed. I built these tools and improve them every day.
Selected Idea, Sharif University of Technology, 2025
2026 to date
Building the Shipo Market platform and brokering vessel sales, purchases and charters directly for owners, buyers and charterers.
2026
Trade and logistics between Iran, Türkiye and regional markets; sourcing goods and routes in a period when the traditional routes had become risky.
2024
B2B marketing of the company's maritime and trading services.
2023 to 2025
Sales in the hospitality industry and certified real estate consulting in Türkiye; the years that made negotiating with foreign clients a daily routine.
Türkiye and Georgia
Years of living and working in Türkiye and Georgia, with the language and business culture of both; what makes a deal with a foreign counterparty simple for an Iranian client.
Every week I write about what really happens in a vessel deal: survey, documents, insurance, price negotiation and how to read a listing properly.
One message is enough. Tell me what you want, the budget or price you have in mind and where; I come back with real options, not promises.
